About Tarabya Travel

Hello, I'm Hasan.

I was born and raised in Istanbul, a city that has carried empires, connected continents, and kept countless stories alive in its streets. Growing up in such a layered place is difficult to describe.

In Istanbul, you do not simply move through a city. You walk through streets once crossed by emperors, rest under the shade of trees planted generations before you, and slowly learn not to see the city only as buildings, squares, or monuments. Istanbul is a living memory.

Travelling across different countries and cultures later helped me understand what many travel experiences often miss. Too often, journeys are reduced to routes, lists, and photographs. Places are shown to travellers, but travellers are not always helped to build a real connection with them.

Tarabya Travel was born from this realisation.

I decided to bring together my own travel perspective with the professional experience my family has built in the tourism sector over many years. Our aim is not to create standard tours, but to design journeys that help travellers understand the rhythm, memory, and character of a place.

Istanbul is where this idea began. It is the city whose stories I heard as a child, whose streets I grew up in, and which I gradually learned to read with a different eye. From there, we carry the same approach across Türkiye, to regions we know, places we have experienced many times, and journeys shaped with both personal care and professional understanding.

Through our roots in Türkiye, we offer local experience. Through our London-based structure, we offer trust, clarity, and international standards.

For us, travel is not about seeing more. It is about being in the right places, in the right way.
